I guess the obvious thing would be to instantly dismiss this album as The Mumfords often are but despite the wonderful collaborators (Clairo, Monica Martin,Phoebe Bridges, Brandi Carlile) and my open mind and positive critical reviews unfortunately this album cant be rescued from simply being a bit of a slow stodgy snooze feast which doesn’t include track two “Grace” which is actually pretty awesome & unsurprisingly the most upbeat thing here
