The 2018 "solo release" of the bassist from the Hollywood created fictional band Spinal Tap, Derek Smalls (aka Harry Shearer), on BMG (Cat#: 538372552) follows in the tradition of the Spinal Tap album "Smell The Glove" released nearly 40 years ago. The same jokes apply. This does feature some outstanding guest appearances throughout the 14 tracks here, including Richard Thompson, Skunk Baxter, Donald Fagen, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Jane Lynch, Dweezil Zappa and Steve Lukather. A lot of hard work happens in the background to keep BEA running, and it's especially difficult to do this when we can't pay our hosting fees :(
