Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 58.0/100, a mean average of 56.8/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 56.8/100. The standard deviation for this album is 20.5.

This album did grow on me after numerous playings. Though I will admit that at first play it was "meh!" and I still do think that many (most all?!) of the tracks could have benefitted with a minute or two sliced off them, as seem to drag out a bit. I suspect if Martin Birch could have still have been involved as a Producer it would a much more successful outcome.
Esperava menos, dá até pra curtir!!
I personally love this album. Educated Fool, Angel and the Gambler, Futureal, When Two Worlds Collide and Como Estais Amigos are excellent, yet criminally underrated tracks. I'm not a fan of Clansman however. Don't Look to the Eyes of a Stranger is pretty good, but not quite as good as the rest of the album (minus Clansman).
Lightning Strikes Twice & When Two Worlds Collide are the highlights if there is any silver lining on a less than memorable album. Some good riffs though.
The worst album of Iron Maiden
The X Factor was bad enough, but this is absolutely dreadful! Without Bruce and Adrian the group loses allot of what makes them unique and good. Not a single good track. The group's worst album.
Nothing about this album is good.
