This is actually just a reissue of his 1997 "Blame Someone Else" album with three bonus tracks, but Bella Union didn't have especially good distribution in 1997, so personally I don't blame him for the re-title. Robin Guthrie appears on one track ("Muscle and Want") and Elizabeth Fraser appears on another ("Worship Me"). For the most part, this is low-key, occasionally dreamy, somewhat-conventional avant-pop material; Raymonde's voice sounds a bit like The Auteurs' Luke Haines, only much less raspy and abrasive in tone and buried in the mix somewhat. It should appeal to Cocteau Twins fans, but it's definitely not an attempt to sound like them.
