Entertaining slice of early Mondays, a Mondays at their most basic but under it all, as always, is a great rhythm. Although the vocals aren't the most harmonious (!) it just doesn't matter. The version I have is minus Desmond, replaced with 24 Hour Party People.

Mental. Me and a pal were crying with laughter when we first heard this in the 6th form common room. People actually make records like this? It still makes me laugh but it's also an amazing record. Punk funk at its best. Way better than bummed production wise, cale actually did a good job. Crazy lyrics from the realist rock n roll act ever. The Monday's would have lived like they did without being in a band. They didn't need the band to fulfill that.
