The twee duo known as The Galactic Heroes features the smooth and sweet harmonies of two fellows known as Mike and Ricky (no last names given) as well as acoustic guitars . For live performances the two are supplemented by Taylor and Scott. This second full length album by the group was released in 2004 on Magic Marker Records (Cat#: MMR-029) finds the boys treading in familiar territory of Belle & Sebastian, with wide-eyed innocence about mundane things - yet there is a knowing undercurrent and pop hooks abound. A real pleasant listen. Authenticated on discogs.com and allmusic.com
