A great debut that they never managed to surpass, or even come close to it. Infectious pop music combined with playful and full of personality lyrics.

Top 5 albums of 2005!
The first and still best album, and by a distance, from the Scissor sisters. It's full of great pop songs with the Elton John influence shining brightly on most tracks, especially, take your mama. Still not sure about the cover of, comfortably numb, though. Still, this is the ultimate party record.

Good glam rock/electroclash/nu-disco album. Best 10 songs average is 85,8/100 and the album can get good 85/100. Best songs are "Mary" and "Return to Oz" both 90/100, followed by "Laura", "Take your mama", "Comfortably numb" and "It can't come quickly enough" all 85/100. All other songs - these disco numbers in the middle - in the average region of 75-80/100.
Yeah, absolutely, magnificent album.
