An album and band I already wanted to discover a long time, not in the least because of that peculiar band name. And it was worth it. There are a lot of resemblances to R.E.M. but that doesn't matter because they do have an own sound which sounds soundly sound. Especially the first tracks are very good.
I am still stunned that this album didn't change the landscape of popular rock in the mid eighties. It was so much more catchy and lycically important than REM; less self righteous than U2; and just plain better than what other trash was being heaped onto non-college airways.
