No More Tears came as a bit of surprise. While there is no disputing the power of the first two Ozzy solo albums, Bark at the Moon and the Ultimate Sin were relatively mediocre albums compared to Ozzy's previous work (though No Rest For the Wicked, the album that came before No More Tears is underrated in my opinion). No More Tears, while not Ozzy's heaviest work, shows a maturity in the songwriting and one could argue is Ozzy's last very good to great work.

He's so much better when he lets loose. He's trying too hard on this one, and doesn't have Sabbath to fortify him.

Ozzy’s pop album and he hit it big with this one. This shows his more beatlesqse side and it was a good change up.

Not the best Ozzy album, but not bad. Mama I'm Coming Home is the highlight for me, tracks 1, 2, 4, 5 and 10 are worth listening to, rest are just average.
For me, this is the magnum opus of Ozzy's solo career. Consistently great right through with some of the best of his solo tracks.
