Just some really great dream pop.
I don't quite know why, but I was taken aback by this album and just how great it is; perhaps it's because it was the first time I listened to the shoegaze genre. Cohesive, dreamy and really cool, the record zips on by and makes you want to play it again straight after it's finished.
Some really catchy guitar riffs and vocals

Oshin is good dream indie rock debut album. Nothing spectacular here but this deserves a good listening.

Simple but effective!
I guess this album fills the position that Real Estate's Days occupied last year. You know, it's all dreamy and jangly, and quite inoffensive, which means that P4k and subsequently the indie crowd will eat it up. And me? Well, I love dream pop.. So yeah, I like this. I don't think it's quite as good as Days though, that one was way more chill, and put me into some... "special place". But this is good.. Just beware, if you're not into this music and somehow don't love the jangly guitar sounds that form the beautiful wall of noise, you'll probably find this way too bland to enjoy.

Excellent debut continuing the current trend for all things shoegaze albeit with some motorik krautrock thrown into the mix. DIIV's reverb heavy dream-pop is nonetheless engaging at times often reminescent of Swedish nu-gazers The Radio Dept.

I can feel some BSS in the instrumental sections, but there are so many instrumental sections that aren't fully compelling, and the vocals are indistinguishable and so tucked back into the mix that i don't foresee (forehear?) listening to this again. Good potential though.
