I'm not a huge jazz fan, so this is my personal rating, not what I think the quality of it is.
Having said that I really enjoyed the live crowd interaction and slightly less conventional salt peanuts.
Holy crap.

Five of the greatest jazz musicians who ever lived playing together... of course it will be a quality recording. The first track was the only weak entry, IMO, but the rest is predictably gorgeous, even for someone who isn't big on traditional bebop arrangements.
A nice jazz album, but it doesn't live up to its status, for me.

The Quintet is Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Bud Powell, Charles Mingus and Max Roach. You can also buy a more complete version of the same concert called Charlie Parker - Complete Jazz At Massey Hall which has 14 tracks.
