From Brad1770
For this album the Stooges planned to record five songs which were for all intents and purposes were their live set of the day , these tracks were:
(1)"I Wanna Be Your Dog"
(2)"No Fun"
(3)"1969"
(4)"Ann" and
(5)"We Will Fall"
However Electra told the band they needed more songs and so 3 more tracks were hastily composed

The 10 minute slow dirge was a massive surprise fore me , most un-Iggy like

"I Wanna Be Your Dog" still sounds amazing today and carries this album

Just wanted to say that "I Wanna Be Your Dog" might be the best punk track ever recorded. Listening to this thing drives me insane.

L'urlo primitivo ma non scomposto di chi non si identifica nel peace & love, animalesco quanto la presenza scenica del cantante. "1969" traccia il solco, "No fun" e "I wanna be your dog" diventano classici, "We will fall" inventa il dark, l'intero disco sparge semi importanti che germoglieranno a partire dalla seconda metà degli anni settanta col punk. BESTIE FEROCI.

Thought of as a seminal punk album, but surprisingly unpunk in parts.

The Stooges at the most unrefined. Great.

Although most people seem to rate Raw Power and Fun House higher this is my favourite of the first three albums. Both as a whole album vibe and on an individual songs level (most of my favourite The Stooges songs are from this album).

Every song on here is nice but there is really only one standout track.

Along with, fun house, one of the greatest rock'n'roll records ever made. Full of grit, energy and balls, just what classic rock should be all about.

playing No Fun on the jukebox makes sure your bar stays fun, with less old ppl and uppity types. it's so annoying and obnoxious and perfect. pretty much the stooges in a nutshell. raunchy
