Nas sounds perfect over the tracks. Queens story, accident murderers and daughters are career highlight.

Probably one of the strangest break-up albums of the decade, it's impassioned, sloppy and bruskly charming in geniunely interesting ways, the best we can ask from Nas these days.
Nas strikes again with this album. It's a personal record that carries a rugged 90's vibe while still staying relevant to the times.

He's a hip-hop elder statesman now and brings the wisdom behind his words. There's a sharpness in his lyrics, and yet, nothing really stands out as a great song ("accident murderers" is the best here). Varying between hard deliveries and smooth jazzy backdrops (incl. amy winehouse), this is a nice listen nonetheless, it just doesn't measure up to his last album.
Nas' best since at least God's Son, and perhaps the first truly grown up mainstream hip-hop album.
