This is bog-standard reggae, nothing can disguise that fact, and if 'reggae' was on the way out by 87 then Frankie Paul doesn't do much to help the cause with this offering.

Still, it's listenable, I can't deny that, and on the basis that a lot of stuff on here doesn't meet that criteria alone this album deserves some kind of place on bea.
