Upbeat and poppy, though in a different direction than pre-Michael McDonald Doobies records. I like the older albums better, but there’s still great stuff here—mostly Here to Love You, What a Fool Believes and How Do the Fools Survive. Solid collection of songs.

Really fun and warm
A change of direction by a fun 70's party band. Mr. McDonald brought a mature and more sophisticated sound to a band that was running out of ideas.
