The first four Oldfield Albums are timeless , essential master-pieces.
Heard them a zillion times and they still offer something new to the listener.
Incantations ; Ommadawn ; Hergest Ridge and (of course) Tubular Bells
belong in every music-collection

Look at that cover. The guy is 25. A year younger than Joe strummer. Oh well, he may not look too cool and like he's off to teach 6th form geography but I'll take this album to my turntable any (most) days over any clash album. A fine charidee shop find. Big up aal crew playing incantations in '78!
An underrated Mike Oldfield record. It's long (double vinyl) but it is enjoyable enough with some nice moments. Not bad at all.
