Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 4% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 76.9/100, a mean average of 76.8/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 77.6/100. The standard deviation for this album is 15.6.

Between this and 40 licks, I've listened to 40 licks far more, but there are some really nice and crucial tracks missing from that compilation that are present here. I ended up finding this on vinyl and paying a pretty penny for it, but it was so worth it. Of course, the best Rolling Stones greatest hits playlist is always going to be whatever playlist you make of your own personal favorite tracks (mine is several hours long and changes constantly), but for an official compilation this is very solid.
An enjoyable collection of Decca/London tracks and later songs, a bit like 40 licks. Doom and gloom, a new track, is one of the strongest songs the Stones have done for years. High wire, even though nothing special, is a pleasant addition too. Enjoyable.
Good collection it has not really got any good stones tracks missing
