Possibly their weakest outing, nonetheless it's still a good record (which says an awful lot about the quality of releases from the Pet Shop Boys) if a little preachy.
Their weakest, but still worth a listen. Unfortunately there's nothing about this, not the bitter lyrics nor the uninvolving production, that manages to fully immerse the listener. Thank god they return to form the year after with the excellent "Electric".
