Rating metrics: Help Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album has a Bayesian average rating of 56.6/100, a mean average of 55.6/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 55.6/100. The standard deviation for this album is 21.6.

I rank this a tiny bit above Dos and a tiny bit below Uno. Standout tracks: Brutal love, missing you, dirty rotten bastards, the forgotten.

I have listen to this album again some years later, and I still think is crazy good. Top 3 Green Day in my opinion, the best since Nimrod (that one is impossible to beat). Much better than UNO and DOS, I like every song in here and half of the album are highlights.

It's kind of hard to find enjoyable an album that has underrated and uninspired songs, we are closing the trilogy with Tré!, who showed at the beginning (2 first songs) a very well introduction, but suddenly (3-9) they got worse and worse (exception of X-Kid) making a body very bad structured. The main reason why I say that was decent was for the final three songs, that made the album kind of worth it.

First time I listened to this I thought... meh, B-Sides material. Then I listened to 21st Century, and wish they would have condensed this into one really good record. Although nothing is crazy amazing, this is really solid pop-punk. Way better than 90% of other band's pop punk attempts.

This album is hilarious. You guys cannot rate an album because of the previous ones, bands change their style and you have to accept it. Do you really think Green Day has become commercial? I don't think so. If they hay a commercial album that's American Idiot (Commercial doesn't mean bad at all), and I can really say this album made me shiver with some songs as Dirty Rotten Bastards or X-kid. Sadly underrated.

Tre cool is the perfect cover for this album. Its so ecstatic through and through. I would buy this album over and over again. Guitar reocrding is top knotch as well as vocal recording. Lyricism is superb. All around great record.

Stop burying Green Day, they're still a great band. Best album of the trilogy.

The worst of the trilogy. Stuff like "Missing You", "Sex Drugs & Violence" or "Drama Queen" sounds empty and brings nothing to the album. I don't know if "Dirty Rotten Bastards" aimed to reach the interest of "Jesus of Suburbia" or "Homecoming", but the truth is that it is far away from this work... "99 Revolutions" is the only song that is worth it.
