This is regarded as the first of her albums to move away from a pure country feel. It has a laid back feel the only up tempo tracks being Silver Threads.... and The Fast One. She handles other artists songs with great feeling. Her voice is quite distinctive. Best tracks here are her covers of Deperado, Love Has No Pride, Don't Cry Now and Colorado. This and her next 7 albums (1973-82) all have a country rock sound and all 8 are really good albums.
