The songwriting and singing are good, but the album is very poorly produced and sounds terrible to my ears, muddy and flat. Decent demo, now go make a proper album. If you've ever ping-ponged tracks on audio tape, you'll recognize the sound of overdoing it. Good music that doesn't sound good, it's a problem.

Brilliant debt, if a little inconsistent and unfocused. Beautiful ballads in Believe in Me and We Gotta Get You a Woman and the Baby Let's Swing Medley and Birthday Carol are masterpieces
