The best from Peter Hammil dischography by far...
"A Louse is not a Home" may be my all time favorite song, or at least in the top 5. Peter Hammill really doesn't hold anything back here (He never does). Modern and Forsaken Gardens are also incredible. Really the whole album is. Everything is so meaningful here.
In many ways, the most vdgg-like of Hammill's solo works. Modern and Louse could easily work with Pawn Hearts. Wilhelmina another example of his fine eye for a great lyric. A man at his songwriting peak.

A good one among the early PH canon. This is only for proghead. Less of an aural attack than your typical VdGG album but similar in feel.
