Liked this album, 4 or 5 top pop songs, when will you make...and rain town standout. Recently found the production hasn't dated that well though, or maybe the inferior CD sound
Really strong storytelling and song writing make this one stand out from the crowd. It starts really strongly and keeps the quality high for 8 or 9 tracks.
The album rewards repeated listens - go on give it another go!
My favorite songs: Raintown.....Chocolate girl.....Dignity....He looks like Spencer Tracey now.....When will you..
quintessential scottish lefty pop music of its time...still retains a great deal of 'dignity'
