Gratifying to see so many people aware and approving of this. Good good record, but the record geeks working the phones for it to my radio station had something else that mattered more to them, and almost wouldn't acknowledge it when my MD asked about it, and so it got next to no airplay...

I never listened to this group at the time, but I'm glad I got prodded to do so now. Still kind of a mixed bag for me, but lots to like. I hear a fantastic blend of influences (from 60s guitar band to singer/songwriter to edgy new wave) all nicely tied together with enough variety to hold my interest over the course of a full album.
Four magnificent tracks.
Do you know any other album where the cover reflects the emotions of the songs of the album?

Really good songs by another great Aussie band who only got recognition by the art scene Great album

The Triffids are one of those Aussie bands that receive recognition in sacred circles and not the mainstream populus. 'Unmade Love' is a great track that holds up today in an underrated album.
