These guys have very good taste in the music they stole, err, I mean sampled. e.g., The Band on "Check the Technique". I also liked the rhythm guitar, piano, scratching, and nice beats. And classic rhyme rapping, I like the relaxed delivery. Music to chill by, terrific album all the way through and that's rare.
Amazing flow, great rhymes, and cool production. 9.5/10!

Some of the beats are a bit annoying but Guru's voice, rhymes and flow are on point enough on those tracks to make up for it. The best tracks on this record are straight fire. A hip hop classic.

Probably one of my favourite acts at the time. Guru's prudent delivery possibly sounds even more refreshing now than it did then.
Simply fantastic! The lyrics were the best part for me and the songwriting skills are high. This is music to enjoy! Want more of it!
