One of the best Mothers of Invention albums. The group's chemistry is tight and vital. It's got its bizarre moments (as does every Zappa release), but these moments do not take away from or outweigh the more musically sound points.
How 'We're Only In It For the Money' can be several albums in front of this is beyond me. Yes, this is a bit odd in parts but the musicianship is on the money. Memorable cover art is a bonus to an altogether absorbing album. My wife hates it and threatens to throw it out after me when I put it on!

The second half of this thing is Zappa gold
Awful. I love Zappa, but he has made some terrible records. Not as bad as, lumpy gravy, but not much better either. It's torture to be honest.
Typically Zappa weird and eccentric. I love it!

This album is disgusting and nuts and I love every minute of it.
Not quite as tasty as Burnt Weeny Sandwich, but more than palatable. Includes one of my favorite songs, "Orange County Lumber Truck".
One of Zappa's more experimental 'experiences' consisting of whimsical surreal elements, dissonance, swing and free-form jazz hybrids
