i've always seen this as a surprisingly under-appreciated entry in the 4AD catalog. Jim Beattie from Primal Scream has put together a bright, jangly, energetic album that i've enjoyed ever since my first listen. i'd recommend the track "nothing happened yesterday" for anyone who's curious about the album.
