What you see is what you get with Molly Hatchet—good-time, hard-hitting, boogie southern rock ‘n roll. All the songs here are good, maybe a bit samey sounding, but enjoyable. There are three cuts that rise above the rest though: the fiery opener Whiskey Man, the classic title track, and easily my favorite of the bunch Boogie No More, which has some of the best guitar I’ve heard in my life. Those are the highlights, but it’s all solid stuff.
