Produced by Joe Walsh and featuring supporting musicians/singers Walsh, Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Randy Meisner and Graham Nash this 1974 effort by Fogelberg on Full Moon/Epic (Cat#: EK 33137) sets the table for future success. The strident songs and storytelling are here, however, the songs do not really seem to resonate as later hits would. Still an enjoyable album with a California Country-Rock flavor typified by The Eagles of that time. Authenticated on discogs.com

There are some truly outstanding cuts on this album, but overall it does bog down a bit from too many lackluster ballads that don't always go anywhere.
