Lovely artist, but the critics can really exeggerate at times when it comes to smaller artists.
A stellar debut album from Norwegian pop star Annie that remains consistently impressive throughout, yet has some diverse cuts such as the glorious 8 minute track "Come Together" near the end of the record. The production and lyricism (God bless Richard X and Hannah Robinson, the demigods of 00s pop) are top-notch and they harmonize to form catchy yet refined tracks.
This is bubblegum pop with maturity and flair. A hidden gem.

You know, for the past six months, I've been going out with a girl named Annie. It's sorta funny, because she's into the exact opposite of this kind of music. She's into all this weird pretentious ballet/opera stuff like Jackie Evancho. Oh, how much cooler she'd be if she just took the time to party a little bit and become an Anniemal :p
