Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 11% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 74.9/100, a mean average of 74.0/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 75.0/100. The standard deviation for this album is 14.3.

I love this album so much. Wildly experimental and it works so well. The lyrics are really well written and I always laugh at the self-awareness of Mr Noah (Animal Collective being a band that lots of people do drugs to). Really consistent offering with lots of highlights all the way through.
"You know you guys are out there like fuckin' Pluto, man. You're gone!"
It took me a couple listens to get into this but this is a pretty good album with a very suitable album name. Good mixture of bright and dark songs
Mr Noah and Tropic of Cancer are excellent tracks, surrounded by a bunch of still very good tracks. Not a single dud in the bunch.
My Dearest LAF2.
It's supposed to spell PBVSGM, as in Panda Bear Vs. the Grim Reaper, and alternative title of the album.

Does the album cover bother anyone else? The fourth letter should be a T, not an S.
Great album that features both light and dark material which makes it a more complete and I say slightly better album than Tomboy. Person Pitch is still my favorite but once again Panda Bear creates something amazing.
It's hard to beat the power and greatness of Tomboy but he managed to do a pretty good album with some great tunes.
Very nice. A strong follow-up to Tomboy, which I also enjoyed immensely.
Quality as you would expect from pb. Boys Latin is fucking ace!
