Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. There is a nice variety in genres that manages to make much sense without feeling forced, even without notes. With that variety and some more obscure picks here and there, this feels like a very honest list!
That being said, I think notes would do this list wonders! While not too necessary, some international picks would be nice too. There's lots of music outside the US and UK that's great, got a few recommendations that might be up your sleeve:

Pink Floyd is great and all, but you can only put so many of their albums in the top 10.

Starts off really canon-heavy, as does my chart, then it gets interesting. Great to see so much Floyd. Good to see KLF and Ogden's Nut Gone Flake. And good rap choices too.
Overall a very good chart. Some notes would be nice
