all downhill after leaving school
An alright album but there's many of his others I'd rate above it. Not really any stand out individual tracks (apart from 'Schools Out' but in all honesty, it's been thrashed to death). But I did see him live recently and he played 'My Stars' which gave me a renewed appreciation for it. If your looking for an Alice album to start with, go with any of his other early 70's albums before this
Obviously the title track is legendary, but beyond that I'd say only Blue Turk is worth adding to any playlist.
Favorite Tracks:Blue Turk, Public Animal No.9
This album suffers from being sandwiched between the two very best Alice Cooper albums. Still, it features his most well known hit. Give "Blue Turk" a listen. That's another of those genius Alice numbers that sneaks up on you with its brilliance and irreverence...and that cabaret style...
The titletrack stands out. The rest is good, but the whole album is far from Alice Cooper's best works.

A very amusing record that works better as a concept than a showcase for individual songs. The title track is one of the best anthems of all time and the West Side story bit is hilarious, but most of the songs are not as good when taken out of context.

Well, not that good, School's Out remains a f*cking great song for sure ! The rest of the album is weak and does not show anything else.
