I like her. I like Mascara and Let It Burn. Nice Songs.
But there are a high percentage of mediocre songs and some are just bad.
If you'll never listen to this record you won't miss a thing :)

Comparing this to Estelle or Mary J. Blige would be accurate and should be sufficient to recommend it. But that would be selling it somewhat short, because this album has a swagger to it that is really resonating with me. I guess her prolonged "lack of self-belief" hiatus did her good. There is a groove to the production, and a cleverness to the lyrics, that exudes an effortless cool.

R&B has always been a genre that doesn't have much interest for me. However, since Fearless Sullivan has been a must listen to with every release. This is no different and possibly her best one yet, although Love Me Back is something special. For top r&b album of 2015, I can't think of any that are better.
