A fine modern country album. Never listened before but a pleasant surprise, albeit I'm not a country music fan.

You know, this is not my style, but was actually pretty good. Listenable with no song being particularly long or trying. As contemporary country goes, tolerable.
Mr. Yoakam's third record is a standout. Containing two number one singles there is not a stinker on here. The Buck Owen's duet "Streets of Bakersfield" is just fantastic. Though not a fan of 80's country Dwight's first three albums are an exception to the 80's malady.

One of my all time favourite "Country" albums, it has a Blue Grass feel to it but overall a great atmosphere is created. Dwight has a great voice and the songs "Send Me The Pillow" "I Got You" the title track and I Sang Dixie" are gems. The rest of the album is at least 80/100.
This album is surprisingly better than I was expecting. Good stuff.
