Mr. Yoakam's third record is a standout. Containing two number one singles there is not a stinker on here. The Buck Owen's duet "Streets of Bakersfield" is just fantastic. Though not a fan of 80's country Dwight's first three albums are an exception to the 80's malady. (Edited)

One of my all time favourite "Country" albums, it has a Blue Grass feel to it but overall a great atmosphere is created. Dwight has a great voice and the songs "Send Me The Pillow" "I Got You" the title track and I Sang Dixie" are gems. The rest of the album is at least 80/100.

You know, this is not my style, but was actually pretty good. Listenable with no song being particularly long or trying. As contemporary country goes, tolerable.

A fine modern country album. Never listened before but a pleasant surprise, albeit I'm not a country music fan.
This album is surprisingly better than I was expecting. Good stuff.
