Bland rather than bad. They've got a formula that worked and are sticking to it
There is some solid to good stuff, especially in the middle, but nothing really stands out. The end of the album is especially rough.
Shots, It Comes Back To You and Dream are the only ones I found worth listening to.

The fact that they are a mainstream band doesn't hide the fact that this is just bad. Night Visions had potential and some really good songs but this is very disappointing.

It's really not that bad, it's just not very interesting. It's what you would expect from a huge pop act these days. I actually like the seemingly African influenced beats on some of the tracks, and that's coming from someone who didn't expect this to even be worth his time. It'll be a decent listen until it's shoved down our throats by every Top 40 station out there, so enjoy it while you can.
The only thing that really sucks about the album is the cover art.
Very disappointed, their debut album was good in my opinion with some decent tracks. But this? i dont even can listen the entire album. the only song i can hear is "I bet my life"

Absolutely terrible
I'm honesty so disappointed right now. Imagine Dragons has the talent and following to be a fantastic, generational defining band. But following this sophomore release, I'm left with a bitter taste in my mouth. All the songs rely on a generic drum beat and each is less imaginative than the last. At no point did I get emotionally engaged in a song and a few were actually hard to sit through. All in all, an embarrassing effort. If this is the direction Imagine Dragons wants to take, they will soon fade into obscurity.
