Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 12% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 74.5/100, a mean average of 73.5/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 74.7/100. The standard deviation for this album is 14.9.

Nothing particularly original about BTO but I don’t care. Great heads down, no nonsense boogie. As someone else said, what’s not to like.
Definitely their zenith in their whole career

Basic 3 chord rock w/a tone deaf singer.
A good solid record from a classic 70's band. What's not to like?
Not my favorite, but I always liked BTO. No-nonsense, guitar-based rock n' roll. I know the "critics" weren't BTO fans, but to hell with them. These guys rocked and though I'm sure they didn't plan on it at the time, several of their songs have been used for commercials since they were first recorded (Takin' Care of Business, You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet, Roll On Down the Highway, Hey You), making them a ton in royalties.
Straight ahead rock, nothing fancy. But with the hooks for pop success. The critics will look down their noses, but the people will boogie. this album came out when I was in my early teens, it was perfect for the time.

Decent guitar-based classic rock, and permanently etched in Canadiana.
On this album BTO not only managed a follow up with another hit track, they also produced an album full of gems. Favourites are Not Fragile, You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet, Sledgehammer and Second Hand.
