More pop and less indie rock compared to their first two albums, but still a good listen. My highlights are Handsome and Want You So Bad.

I've been following The Vaccines since their debut back in 2011 and became a fan. Simple, direct indie pop music. Catchy choruses and great melodies was their “signature” sound. They may sound like every possible band out there but they were great at their job. The first two albums run pretty much on the same formula, “English Grafitti” their third album, gets them betting on a different direction without completely leaving the roots. The first four songs deliver energy, interesting lyrics and powerful moments. I’m not too crazy for the rest of the album, “Give Me a Sign” is a stand out moment, but the rest just feels like an interesting attempt to change but without actually embracing it.
