except for the very good "rewind", I don't find this EP particularly interesting. Kelela has put out much greater work after this one ("take me apart") where all her influences came together in a seamless package. this feels a bit ponderous and arty for arty's sake, sort of a stepping stone between cut 4 me & take me apart. worth a listen, but you know, don't expect anything great.
Full of bops
An above-average EP from Kelela displaying huge potential to pull something great out of the bag just like FKA twigs. She's almost there, but ultimately the tracks on this EP play it a bit too safe.
