Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. Following 21 was always going to be difficult. And when I first heard this I think I was a little disappointed - it was perhaps similar to 21 without quiet hitting the same high levels. But over time I got more into the songs - although sometimes they felt even more morose that 21. But now I really like the album.

What made Adele appealing to me before is now completely gone. This sounds so washed out and bland. Real shame, she's actually talented.

Edit score: Heard a single from this album on the radio and liked it so I gave the album five extra points.
This artists celebrated voice is all power without anything that makes it special. Give me Pavarotti or Ghiaurov anyday.

It's alright for what it is. Maybe slightly worse than 21, but still listenable. It's hard for me to truly dislike any songs on here, but nothing is close to be truly memorable.
Is this too new to already be one of my favorites? The delay was worth it, and I'm glad Adele waited until she could release something that she was proud of. Play Hello 100 times and it still doesn't lose its magic for me.
It doesn't necessarily break new ground from 21 but it does perfect its flaws and cover more moods and styles. If you like 21 I can't imagine you not liking this.
