If not my favorite Silver, it's easily in the top three. The compositions are engaging, the improvisation excellent, and the final result absolutely top shelf. This is a prefect example of the supreme quality of Silver's early work.

Horace Silver delivers in equal measure his impeccable taste, flowing improvisation, and lively technique, making for a delightful outing with the Jazz Messengers.
