Erykah Badu delivers an album I suppose it could be called a concept album centred around the telephone. The tracks are a mixed bunch of jazz hip hop soul. Her voice is unique and although a lot of the songs just repeat the same line over and over it works because the instrumentation is excellent. Takes a few listens but it's worth it.
