This album is solid and isn’t great for lounging to a chill vibe. I wouldn’t want to listen to any other album other than this one for lounging. Just slaps through with consistent greatness

A perfect album for any occasion, especially for your lonely November Fridays as well for any party you might give to your friends. Amazing stuff.

If Billie Holiday was to come back & make a record this would be it. Erykah Badu has that special voice that leaves you wanting more. This again is a debut album that is ranked in my Top10 albums of all time. I never tire listening to this amazing album, On & On is one of the best tracks but my favourite track is Next Lifetime along with 4 Leaf Clover. But the whole album is full of great tracks with a Jazzy neo-soul feel and her amazing voice adds to the atmosphere.
Soulful, genuine, funky hip hop. Real good easy listening & so well done. A- MEZ

[i]Daaayyyyuuummm[/i], she is good. It's relaxed contentment, like being out on a date with the one you love, the two of you sitting in a night club and this band is playing and Erykah is chanteusing and it's feeding your mellow contentment and they are feeding off your relaxation until it spirals into a feedback loop of happy dreaminess. So you're having a good time, and then the track Afro comes along, which enhances the intimacy of the night club effect. 4 Leaf Clover comes and adds elements of harmony. Reprises of the first song at the end. After you hear the album, in the silence after the last notes, it feels wrong that you don't have a standing ovation.
