The 3rd album from Erykah Badu is more experimental than Baduizm and Mama's Gun. It takes a few listens to get into but it really is a great adventure in minimalism and it really grows on you. I have the U.K. version and it contains 12 tracks Love of My Lifetime (an Ode To Hip Hop ft. Common) which is the version from the film Brown Sugar and is the version that was released as a single, there is also a cover version of Rufus/Chaka Khan's "Hollywood". These are the best track on the album ! So try and get the U.K./Japan version of this album with 12 tracks.

There's growth here for sure. She's showing a little more angst, a little more bite, and more aggressive beats to back it up. Not as soulful, but more bite.
