Poor Charles Bradley has had a real rough year of it this year, but musically he’s still at the top of his game. I’d argue you don’t even have to be a fan of soul to enjoy this, but then I’d also wonder why you aren’t a fan of soul in the first place.
Best track: Ain’t It A Sin. “If you ain’t gonna do me right, I might just do you in” is a killer refrain. His cover of Black Sabbath’s Changes is pretty awesome too.
