This is my favourite album release by one of my favourite ever Spanish Rock bands.

Probablemente este sea el más sólido de los discos de Mecano, en todos los aspectos. A nivel de producción es espectacular, especialmente teniendo en cuenta el contexto de la música española de los 80. Algunas canciones (Mujer contra mujer, Quédate en Madrid, Dalí, La fuerza del destino...) son estupendas, pero como se ha dicho antes, tal vez se alargue un poco más de lo necesario. Y por desgracia de vez en cuando siguen apareciendo algunos versos risibles ("Lo de ser esclavo/no lo trago", "No hay marcha en Nueva York/y los jamones son de york"... vamos, no me jodas), pero bueno, esos versos son marca de la casa a estas alturas. En líneas generales, un disco notable.

Estoy de acuerdo con Santiago, creo que Mecano fue muy ambicioso en este disco al querer abarcar una gran variedad de estilos musicales, pero algunas canciones están de más, funcionarían mejor como B-Sides, no obstante son más sus virtudes que sus defectos. Un álbum clásico.
This album could have been in my top 30 list if it had only 10 songs, but it has 4 songs too many and that ruins it a bit. Songs 10, 12, 13 and 14 are boring and don´t keep the quality of the rest of the album. The jewels: "No Hay Marcha En Nueva York", "Mujer Contra Mujer", "El Blues Del Esclavo", "Eugenio Salvador Dali" and "Un Año Más"
