The group that was hailed as ushering in a whole new wave of rock ended up being a one hit wonder and a mere caricature of a real rock group.

I'm surprised this album and band are largely forgotten by history, and on this site. Weren't they every bit as good as (better than?) the Replacements, Pavement, Arctic Monkeys..?
