Gonna guess 99% of the bad ratings hear are from the people that only know them from MMbop, but they actually got alright once the 2000s rolled around
To be fair, they aren't horribly bad. They just aren't that original. of course their hit "MMMbop" is a great song in my opinion. Everything else is just average pop. I give them about the same rating as the beatles because they have their shining moments, but overall they are just average and overrated.
