Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A great voice and a wonderful songwriter. Not cool to like him, but I listen to him a lot!
Although not a fan of live albums, Hot August Night is that rare exception. A must-have for Diamond fans, and for anyone else appreciative of excellent vocalizing.
