Probably has the best voice among the group of teen female vocalists who emerged around the turn of the century. Her vocal pyrotechnics were dampened by intermittent quality musical accompaniment.

Big voice, but no music to go with it.
Christina Aguilera has a lot of talent but very uneven albums. She also does not come across as a very warm person and she tends to over-sing a lot.

Let's be fair here: At least she has an unbelievable voice. Most mainstream poppy singers don't even have that. But she tends to oversing everything. A lot. And that does bother me.

She has a voice... but aprat from that, she's no better than most 'entertainer' singers. She can sing, but I wouldn't call her an artist.
